Welcome to Heart of Mine Productions

Hi my name is Sebastian Clegg.  I'm a musician and the founder of Heart of Mine Productions LLC.  The name came about when I had to register for a publishing company.  I mostly work writing and producing my own music for sync purposes, but about a year ago a few artists came around asking for my help on some productions and recordings they were making.  I realized then that I liked helping artists and I enjoyed producing and mixing other people's music a lot more than I thought.  I also like being able to help musicians and artists who are emerging and need some help recording their music.  It is refreshing to give a producer or a songwriter an opportunity to work in a space that I wish I had when I was starting out.  I worked as a music educator before striking out on my own and have a Master's in Songwriting from Berklee College of Music and a BA in Music from Columbia University, so when I can part some knowledge or answer some questions, I'm happy to.  While renting the space and working as a coach or a producer and engineer helps pay the rent, it is mostly to give back so I try to keep my rates reasonable and am always open to a pitch from someone who is working on a budget.
